JOSEPH GEORGE CIGLAR (1945 2006) It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Joe Ciglar, beloved husband of Norma, on October 17, 2006, at the age of 61 years. Joe will be remembered and forever loved in the hearts, of his wife Norma; stepsons, Jeffery (Darlene) and David; grandchildren Katheryn and Kevin; brother Rudy (Myrna); sisters-in-law Gail Peden (Neil) and Debbie Macwha (Greg); brother-in-law Garry Phillips (Helene), as well as his nieces and nephews. Joe was born in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Canada at the age of seven. Raised and educated in Thunder Bay, Joe moved to Winnipeg in 1982. At the time of his death, Joe was employed at New Flyer Industries where he was well respected and known for his hard work, honesty and dedication to his job. Joe always enjoyed family occasions where there were children and mountains of food to offer. No one left Joe's table hungry or without a good laugh. He was a generous, caring soul, a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road.
