EARL DAVIS On the morning of October 14, 2006, the angel of death came and carried him from this world to a place of eternal rest. Mr. Earl Slim Davis, born January 21, 1921, through the union of Myrtle and Johnnie Davis of Bienville Parish, Arcadia, Louisiana. Married to Dorothy (Brown). To this union two children were born, Charlene and John. Other siblings are Kenneth (Pepper), Pearl and Lyndsy. One son John and seven siblings predeceased him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Laura Richard and husband Stacy of Houston, Texas, 26 nieces and nephews and a host of other friends. By his request, there will be no final service. I have found my final resting place In the arms of Jesus, Don't mourn or shed tears for me, With the Lord is where I sleep And in your heart I'll always be. I'll see you at the Crossroads, Charlene, Drew and Kierra.
