Date of Passing: Oct 14, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAIRE JOPLING (FOUILLARD) It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Claire on October 14, 2006 in Vernon, BC. Claire's memory will be lovingly cherished by her husband Wayne; children, Dinah and David (Lori); grandchildren, Trevor, Josh, Madison and Tyson; her siblings, Denise (Jack), Claude (Marg) and Terry (Ash), extended family, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Claire was born in St. Lazare, MB. As a young girl, she moved to Winnipeg with her family where she met and married Wayne and raised her children. Claire always had a dream to one day move to the Okanagan Valley. That dream finally came true in 2000 when Claire and Wayne bought their home in Vernon, BC. She loved it there so much but found she missed her children and grandchildren immensely so she would visit often. Claire was predeceased by her parents, Joseph in 1977, Antonia in 2005 and brother Roland in 2006. Cremation and memorial service has taken place in Vernon. A celebration of Claire's life will be held at Assiniboia Christian Centre, 3390 Portage Ave., Winnipeg at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, October 22, Msgr. M. Comeault officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claire's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Vernon SPCA.
