Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM JOSEPH SURRETTE It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of William, on Saturday, October 21, 2006. William was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 7, 1916. He was Veteran of The Second World War and later worked for the Federal Government as a Power Engineer. William is survived by his daughter Wendy (Ken) Merrells, grandchildren Kristofer and Krystal; son Paul (Valerie) Surrette, and grandchildren Patrick and Aimée. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years Beatrice, son Rory and his mother Margaret Strang. We would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home, where he was a resident for the past nine months as well as the various wards at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. We will forever remember his sense of humour and will always cherish his memory. Cremation has taken place. Private graveside service memorial will be held.
