PHILOMENE (FLIPPER) BRIGITE GARRIOCH 1954 2006 Philomene (Flipper) Brigite Garrioch of Calgary, passed away after a long and courageous battle with Lupus disease on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the age of 52 years. Flipper was born on April 6, 1954 in Winnipeg, MB. Long time friend of Bill W. Her caring nature led her to a love of making gadgets and gizmos for handicapped people whom were wheelchair bound. Flipper is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Manivan Hanslip and their children, Wynona and Helena, all of Winnipeg, MB. She is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wally and Brenda Garrioch of Medicine Hat, AB, and Abe Garrioch and Shirley Schaffer of Regina, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Flipper was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Terry Garrioch. At Flipper's request, no Funeral Service will be held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
