ADELINE LEINWEBER Peacefully, on October 20, 2006 at the Park Manor Personal Care Home, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Adeline Leinweber, passed away at age 89 years. Adeline was born November 21, 1916 in Yorkton, SK. She later met and married Paul Leinweber on June 27, 1941 and together they raised their two children. Although family was most important in Adeline's life, she had always enjoyed golfing, curling and lawn bowling with her good friends. Adeline was a longtime and active member of the First English Lutheran Church. She had been a resident of the Park Manor Personal Care Home for the past seven years. A loving mother and grandmother, Adeline treasured her times together with her family. She will be sadly missed. Predeceased by her husband Paul in 1981 and son Jack in 2003, Adeline leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, son Don, daughter Janis and son-in-law Ben Schemool, daughter-in-law Myrna Leinweber; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her sisters, Helen and Dorothea. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Park Manor Personal Care Home for the care and compassion extended to Adeline. Memorial service to be held on Tuesday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Rev. Carol Fletcher officiating. Interment to follow at St.Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
