Klassen aged 91 years of Altona Eastview Place in Altona, MB and formerly of the Schoenthal Dist. passed away at Eastview Place on October 21, 2006. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Leona (George) Unger, Harry (Susan) Klassen, Eva (Pete) Schroeder, Sally (Laverne) Derksen; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Martin was predeceased by his wife Mary in 2000. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, MB with interment to follow in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Tuesday, October 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. In memory of Martin F. Klassen donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Wiebe Funeral Home Altona Ltd. 204-324-5404 in care of arrangements.
