STEVEN CHARLES BARNUM It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family of Steve Charles Barnum, age 66 years, announces his untimely passing on October 20, 2006. Steve is survived by his common-law wife Helen Coutu; sons Darren (Leona) Coutu, Dwayne Coutu and Kerry Barnum of Sault Ste. Marie; daughters Stephanie Coutu and Janice Barnum of Toronto; grandchildren Chantal Coutu and A. J. Fuerst; brothers Danny and Thomas, both from Ontario; sister Lois from Ontario; many nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Steve was predeceased by his parents Lillian and George Barnum; sister Judy Barnum. Steve was born in Sudbury, ON on January 25, 1940 and moved to Winnipeg in the late 1970's to have a wonderful life, in which he did. Being a semi-truck driver, Steve has been everywhere and seen everything to the imagination. Aside fro being a driver, he also loved working on trucks and cars that he had bought throughout his adventurous life. As Steve's wife and children we would like to thank all family and friends, as well as Bardal Funeral Home for being there for us when we needed it the most. Steve will be very much missed by everyone. May he rest in peace. Viewing 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday October 24 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Cremation will follow. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday October 25 at 1:00 p.m. also at Bardal Funeral Home. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
