STEVE BLANCHETTE (PETIT JEAN) October 3, 1943 - October 18, 2006 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Steve on Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at the age of 63 years. Steve was predeceased by his father John, mother Stephanie, brother Real, sister Patricia, and grandson Ryan. He is survived by his brother Roger and Donna Blanchette; children, Jimmy, Linda, Barbara (Rob), Jennifer (Jeff); numerous grandchildren, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Especially longtime friend Nadia. Steve's younger years he enjoyed cooking. He spent most of his life as a truck driver for Borland Construction. Steve enjoyed life, and was a fun loving person who always had a smile on his face. Cremation has taken place. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette R.C. Church, 820 Cottonwood Dr. Rev. Fr. Kevin Bettens presiding. Interment Ste. Anne parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, or Canadian Diabetes Association. Steve will be sadly missed, and always in our hearts. We love you Steve.
