STANLEY KULCZYCKI It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stan Kulczycki, our dad, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, on Sunday, October 22, 2006. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth of 50 years who passed away in 1999; and daughter-in-law Lori; and son-in-law John Graham; parents, Martin and Helen; sisters, Lena, Bertha, Mary; and brothers, Joe and Chesley. He is survived by his five children: Bernadette Graham (James Gray), Ernest (Marilyn), Robert, Kelly, Rodney (Barb); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; his wife and companion Alice; and his sister Ann Procewiat. Stan was born May 6, 1924, Hadashville, MB. Dad moved to Winnipeg in his early years to work as a carpenter where he built and operated a grocery store in the north end. In 1955, he moved to Pointe du Bois, MB where he was employed with Winnipeg Hydro where he continued his career as a carpenter. In 1968, he moved to Winnipeg, where he built a home and worked at the Municipal Hospitals until his retirement in 1986. Upon retiring he and mom returned to the family farm where he continued to pursue his passion in Carpentry. Dad was fun loving, hard working, and generous, and many have a personal keepsake made by his hands. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A funeral will also be held at Glen Lawn at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Pallbearers will be Chris, Ryan, Kaleb, Kelly, Matthew, and Michael. Interment at Lady of Victory, Hadashville, MB. The family would like to extend a thank you to Dr. Sathya, and nurses, at the CancerCare (HSC), as well as Dr. Moissac and staff at the Ste. Anne's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Stan to the CanceCare Manitoba. Always remembered, always cherished. Each memory a part of us, A part of you, Never to be lost.
