Henry was born March 18, 1930, Friedensfeld MB. He grew up with an interest and love of working with his hands and was knowledgeable in many trades. Thirty years with the company and after 20 years in Montreal, retirement brought a move back to Wpg. Henry was active in the churches he attended; Cross Lutheran Church, Wpg, Christ Lutheran Church, Mtrl. He was a gentle, kind, cheerful, and friendly person who was generous with his time and talents in helping others. He loved to make people smile and laugh. He lived joyfully and shared his gifts fully in this lifetime of many ups and downs. Cremation has taken place in respect of Henry's wishes. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 27, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St. A gathering will take place in the church hall following the service. The family wishes to thank the Sunshine Staff at the Meadowood Manor for all their care, support and compassion, as well as the Emergency Staff of the Victoria General Hospital. Henry, may you now know and experience the peace and lightness of being in the presence of an eternal love, and surround-sound waltz and polka tunes.
