ALICE DOWHAN (nee PROCYSHYN) It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Alice Dowhan with her family by her side at Riverview Health Center at the age of 72 years on October 22, 2006. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Paul, her children Elaine (Dennis) Hunter, Valerie (Micheal) Dzendzeluk, Barry (Gail) Dowhan, Ronald Dowhan, her grandchildren James Hunter, Diana, Laura, Daniel Dzendzeluk, Amanda, Paul Dowhan and her great-grandchild Andrew Helander. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings John, Harry (Mary), Mike, Ben (Theresa), Chris Marand, Nellie Dolynuik, sister-in-law Eileen Procyshyn and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice is predeceased by her parents Wasyl and Dora Procyshyn, brother Steve and sister Mary. Mom was a devoted wife to her husband Paul of 50 years and a loving mother and grandmother. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at the Riverview Health Center, Ward 3E, especially Ann Marr for their excellent care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26 at 10:00 am at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Msgr. Maurice Comeault officiating.
