MARIE JEANNINE THIBEDEAU (nee PEREUX) Our dear mother and grandmother, Marie Jeannine Thibedeau passed away peacefully on October 25, 2006, at her daughter's home in Winnipeg. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Danielle (Dennis) Charrette, Edward (Elaine), and Jo-Ann; her grandchildren, Lisa, Dayna, Tara, Devin, Evan, Elias and Lucas; son-in-law John Silver; as well as her two sisters Helen Tremblay and Thérèse Morrice, and her sister-in-law Yolande Péreux. She was predeceased by her parents Mathurin and Blanche; her brothers Roger, Alain, Pierre, Jean, Robert and her sister Edith Sheer. Marie was born in St. Georges, MB. She moved to Winnipeg as a young woman to study nursing at the St. Boniface Hospital. After graduation Marie enjoyed travelling and working in Europe and the USA. She raised her family in Powerview, MB and enjoyed her career as a Public Health nurse. Marie loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to their concerts, sporting and school events. She also enjoyed spending as much time as possible at the lake, most recently her summers at Gull Lake, MB. The family thanks the medical community in Winnipeg, her friends and family for their support. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Friday (tonight), October 27 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Georges Roman Catholic Church in St. Georges, MB on Saturday, October 28.
