MARY BARANSKI (nee SZYMKOWIAK) September 3,1913 - October 25,2006 With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 25, 2006 at the age of 93 with her family by her side. Mom will be forever missed by her daughter Martha (Ignace) Kostusik and her son Joe. Memories of Babcia will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Ed (Donna) Kostusik, Linda (Larry) Charney, Janet (Stephen) Kumka, John Kostusik (Candace) and great grandchildren Michael and David Charney, Amanda and Lauren Kostusik, Adam and Jordan Kumka, Michael and Bridget Baranski. She also leaves to mourn her sister Martha Krzyczkowski. She was predeceased by her parents John and Anna Szymkowiak, her first husband Franz Burbach and her second husband Michael Baranski. Mary worked for many years, at Viceroy Clothier and Western Glove. She was an active and long standing member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 246 and the Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the Wing 2 East staff of the Maples Personal Care Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28 with viewing at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
