VIOLA ROSE HALL July 6, 1935 - October 23, 2006 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Viola Rose Hall, at the age of 71 years, of Fairford, MB on Monday, October 23, 2006. Mom went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Viola was predeceased by her father, Albert Peebles; mother Mary Ryle; stepfather Alex Ryle; sister Aurillia Albekeit; brother-in-law Norman Albekeit; her life partner, Walter Woodford; daughter Jean; and infant twins. Mom was born and raised in Peguis until her Dad's passing. When her mother married Alex Ryle, she moved to Fairford. Mom enjoyed picking berries, canning, gardening. Later in her life Mom moved and lived in Winnipeg, as a result of her health. Mom loved Jesus and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and held them all very dear to her heart. Mom will always be loved and remembered for her kindness. Viola leaves to mourn, her children, Jake (Hazel), Mary (David), Hazel, Wilfred, Andrew (Shannon), Gwen (Bill), Peggie (Dean), Searle (Judith), Owen (Paula) and Cindy (Albert); brother, Clifford Peebles; sisters, Vivian (Nick) Beardy, Eleanor (Clifford) Maytwayashing and Margaret; 44 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, one of whom was special because she was named after Mom, Viola Josephine Rose; also numerous nephews and nieces, cousins and friends, from Fairford, Lake St. Martin, Little Saskatchewan, Dauphin River, Fisher River, Fort Alexander First Nations, which are too numerous to mention. The family would like to thank the Fisher Ambulance Service, Percy E. Moore Hospital, Health Sciences Centre GD2, Fairford Chief and Council, Fisher River Chief and Council, and to all those who sent prayers, phone calls, and who helped financially. Many many thanks to Jim and Linda Anderson of the Anderson Family Funeral Home. A wake service will be held on Friday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB with Pastor Charlie Beardy officiating. A special prayer will be given by Jim Anderson before leaving for the interment that will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Peguis, MB. Following the burial service, you are invited to share in a Come and Go Feast that will take place at the residence of David and Mary Crate.
