FLORENCE FINCH (nee SYKES) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Florence Finch at the age of 90 years on October 22, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital with family at her side. Florence was born July 31, 1916 in Kamsack, SK. She later moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Robert Finch on March 15, 1941. A loving mother and grandmother, Florence treasured her times together with her family. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 65 years, Robert; daughters, Barbara (Dave) and Dorothy; grandchildren, Angela, Erin, Diane and Heather (Paul); niece Carol (Bob) and their children, Brad (Tina), Nicole (Mike). Florence was predeceased by her twin sister Dorothy; and her daughter Sheila. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their professional and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
