Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE HREHORUK (nee Zazulinski) After a brief illness, Pauline passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Bill, infant son Adam, brothers John, George and Dan. She will forever be remembered by her daughter Pat, son Don (Diane) and grandson Michael (Nicole). She is also survived by her sister Katie as well as many nieces and nephews. Pauline was born in Fraserwood, MB. She married Bill and they farmed in the Malonton area where they raised two children. In 1975, she moved to Gimli, MB and worked for many years at the Gimli Training Centre. Next to her family, Pauline's life revolved around the Sacred Heart Church where she sang in the choir and did volunteer work. She was also very active in the New Horizon Club where she participated in many activities including carpet bowling, winning a gold medal at the 2006 MSOS Games. She also had a passion for playing cards and made it a weekly event. Pauline was a very compassionate, dedicated and unselfish person and will be greatly missed. You were always assured to be fed and watered before leaving her home. She was one great lady. Prayers will be said on Sunday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church in Gimli. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. also in the church with Fr. Harry Chuckry officiating. Interment will take place at Zbruch Cemetery following the lunch in the church basement. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli in care of arrangements.
