KATHARINA (KAY) SHAAK (nee TEICHROEB) October 26, 1916 - October 25, 2006 With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt on October 25, 2006 at the age of 90 years. Mom will be sadly missed by her children, Elaine Burgess, Edward Shaak (Catherine), Karen Smith (Robert); grandchildren, Brad, Marci, Chris, Bobbi (Alex), Randy, Stacey, Laura (Mike) and great-grandchildren. Sisters, Mary Dupasquier, Marjorie Rey, Elsie Teichroeb, Grace (Hal) Richardson and Dorothy Bailey, also many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Henry in 1979; her parents, Eva and Henry; sister Eva and brothers, Henry, Jake, George, Art and Bobby. Our family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre, Wing 5A. A memorial service will be held at Bethel Place, 445 Stafford St. on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her name.
