Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE TOMICK February 14, 1915 - October 26, 2006 Peacefully, on October 26, 2006 at the Oakview Place Personal Care Home, Annie Tomick passed away to be with her Lord. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Winnie; her grandchildren, Sandra Penner (Jeff), Robert (Marcia) and Curtis Russell; her great-grandchildren, Aarik and Olivia Rose Penner. Annie will also be mourned by her half-sister Mary (Paul) Sporniak; her sister-in-law Eva Yurechka; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Annie was predeceased by her husband, George in l977, her daughter, Olga, in l963, as well as her brothers, Bill, Peter, John and Nick. Annie's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 1 at 10:30 a.m. in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). For those who wish, parking will be available in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. Interment will be held in the Morris Cemetery, Morris, MB. The family wishes to thank Dr. Griggs and the staff of Oakview Place Personal Care Home for their care, kindness and respectful treatment of Annie during her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakview Place Personal Care Home, 2395 Ness Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J lA5 or to the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba, 1114A - 233 Kennedy St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J5.
