Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRANT DONALD MARTINOOK 1969 - 2006 Suddenly on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Grant Martinook of Morden, MB passed away at the age of 37 years. He was born in Morden on October 25, 1969 and lived most of his life there. He attended the University of Winnipeg from 1990 to 1993 and returned to Morden in 1995. He loved music and DJ'd for several years at university. He was a people person who loved being in a group and hanging out with his friends. Few who met him could fail to appreciate his openness and sense of humour. Grant was diagnosed with a seizure disorder in 1997, changing his young life dramatically. He fought long and hard to overcome this disability but all too soon it took him from us. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Dawn (Ken Minogue) of Morden; uncles and aunts, Brian and Barb Brown, Richard and Gail Martinook, Bill and Peggy Martinook, Wayne and Marilyn Wells and cousins, Jill and Chris Wells. He was predeceased by his father, Don (1991). A special light in his life was a friend from Virginia, GC who visited him twice this past year. She made his world a little better. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boundary Trails Health Centre, P.O. Box 2000, Winkler, MB R6W 1H8. The family wishes to thank Dr. Brian Duff for his care throughout the years; the nurses who helped care for Grant at BTHC and the staff in ICU at the Health Sciences Centre.
