FRANK H. WIEBE 1925 2006 On Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Salem Home in Winkler, Frank Wiebe, aged 81 years of Winkler formerly of Winnipeg, MB went to his eternal rest. He is survived by his sister Anne Krahn and sister-in-law Lil Wiebe, numerous nieces and nephews as well as friends he made through his life. He was predeceased by his parents Heinrich and Maria (nee Janzen), brothers Henry, Abram, George, Peter and Andy and sisters, Mary and Elizabeth. Frank spent his early years working in the Winkler area and also worked briefly for the Canadian National Railway. In 1954, he began a 32 year career on the staff of the T. Eaton Co. fir and security department. He retired in 1986 and spent several years doing volunteer work with Winnipeg Harvest. Viewing will be on Tuesday from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home and prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home 121 8th St. in Winkler with Rev. David Friesen officiating. Interment will follow at Winkler Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to either Winnipeg Harvest 1085 Winnipeg Ave. Winnipeg, MB R3E 0S2 or Salem Foundation Inc. 165 15th St. Winkler, MB R6W 1T8.
