MARGARET STOKES Born on September 14, 1928 and passed away suddenly on Sunday October 29, 2006 at the age of 78 years. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin Francis Kingston Stokes in 1969 and sister Gwendaline Rose Baker. She is survived by her two loving children Tracy Lynn Wilson and James Edwin Kingston Stokes (Brian) as well as her two granddaughters Sara Kathleen and Morgan Alexandra and her brother William (June), other family and many cherished friends. She was a long standing member of the St. James Rebekah Lodge #47, joining in 1952. As well she belonged to the L. Hagar Zuanna Lodge #132. She was also an avid bowler who played five pin at the St. James Lanes with her friends on Wednesday afternoons. Mom loved her summer's and spent every year at Spruce Sands Trailer Resort, beginning with her children and in later year's with all of her lake friends. She was an active volunteer and made donations to many charities A celebration of her life will take place on Friday November 3, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 4000 Portage Avenue Winnipeg, MB.
