Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLI SCHLICHTER Suddenly, while recovering from heart surgery at home in Anola, Willi Schlichter passed away with his loving wife at his side on Monday, October 30, 2006. Willi will be sadly missed by his wife Ursula, children Peter (Lucie) and Gaby Thomsen (Brent), grand daughters Kristina, Melanie and Erika, brother in Germany Manfred (Hanna), sister in-law Christa Sabados (John) and nieces and nephews. His close friends in the area will also miss him. Willi was born in Bremen, Germany on July 17, 1934. He immigrated to Canada as a teenager where he built a career as a plumber and raised his family in the Anola area with his wife Ursula. He was a devoted husband and cared greatly for his children and grandchildren. Willi was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hunting and fishing. Willi, you will remain in our hearts always. A time for tributes and reminiscing will be held on Friday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, MB.
