Date of Passing: Oct 27, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE EMILY LAMBERT (nee LAMOUREUX) It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mom, Marie Emily Lambert on Friday October 27, 2006 at Seven Oaks General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 18, 1941 at the Eriksdale Hospital. Marie was predeceased by her husband Emile Lambert; father Joseph Lamoureux; mother Emily Lucier; siblings Violet, Rose, Vera, Louis, and Lawrence. She will be lovingly remember by her sons Carl, Steve (Bev) and George; grandchildren Jason (Alexandra), Darcy (Tracy), Simone (Robert), Tina, Sheree, Chantille (Marcel) and Michele; great-grandchildren Kelton and Riley; siblings Adriane McLeod, Art (Anita) Lamoureux and Kathleen (Bill) Petrishen; numerous nieces and nephews. If there is one expression that described mom it would be her Smile! Through all the pain, suffering, sorrow, crying and tears in her life she always Smiled her way through. In the joys, happiness, excitement and celebrations, her smile would glow even brighter. Mom always put her family and friends first right up until her last breath. As she prepared to leave this world Mom continually questioned, Is there really a God? and the fear of death. But just when she was giving up hope, her children reminded her of the living words of the Eternal Creator's promise, which gave her new hope. Behold I, God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have past away. And He (God) said, I make all things new for these words are true faithful . Rev. 21: 3, 4. Funeral service 11:00am Saturday, November 4 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Interment will follow in Calgary, Alberta at a later date. The Family thanks the emergency staff and U5 staff, and spiritual care giver (Erica), and all her visitors for their caring support.
