PATRICIA M. KENNEDY (nee MCFEELY) Peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2006 after a seven year battle with cancer at Riverview Health Centre, Patricia May Kennedy at 68 beloved wife of John. Besides her husband John, she leaves to mourn her four children Dallas (Elaine), Lynn (Curt), Patrick (Crystal) and Heather, six grandchildren Katherine, Candace, Ty, Lauren, Drew and Blair, brothers James (Mae), Robert and Donald, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Pat grew up in Oakner, MB. In 1956 she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse, worked at a number of rural hospitals, Red Cross and at the Winnipeg Clinic. In 1959 Pat married her high school love John, they moved a number of times and Pat worked in hospitals in Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay. In 1986 they moved back to Winnipeg where Pat worked at the Grace Hospital and retired from the Grace in 1995. Pat loved nursing and many life long friends everywhere she worked. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend always concerned about the welfare of family and friends, even during her struggle with cancer. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital and at Riverview for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held Friday, November 3 at 2:30 p.m. at the Churchill Park United Church, 525 Beresford Ave Winnipeg, MB.
