WALTER HARDER Walter Harder, 73, of Winnipeg, MB passed away on October 31, 2006 at the Health Sciences Center after a brief battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife Sally, daughters Lori and Karen, and son Brian and his wife Caroline and family. The funeral service will take place at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield Street, on Friday, November 3, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Viewing and a devotional will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, and at the church prior to the service. Interment to follow the service at the church cemetery in Springstein, MB. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) or to CancerCare Manitoba. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on D6, MICU, Grace Hospital Emergency and CancerCare Manitoba. Special thanks to Dr. D. Szwajcer for his compassionate care.
