MARGETT MARY (MAGGIE) HAMILTON (nee KING) Born August 15, 1917 in Plunkett, SK, passed away on October 25, 2006 in Langley, BC. Maggie lived most of her life in Winnipeg where she met and married Frank S. Hamilton in 1941. He predeceased her in 1983, also in that year her sister Mildred Rowe of California. Maggie will be sadly missed by her surviving sister Patricia E. McEachern, Langley, BC; as well as all her nieces and nephews and many friends. Maggie became an accomplished artist and a Yoga enthusiast and taught Yoga as well. She became President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Manitoba House Builders Association and also President of Hydro-X Club. Frank was employed with Winnipeg Electric which became Manitoba Hydro. She moved to White Rock, BC in 1984, then to Langley, BC in 1989, where she became an active member of Langley United Church. In 2004, due to declining health, she moved into Zion Park Manor and enjoyed her new home there. Our family's heartfelt appreciation to all the dedicated staff and volunteers who treated her with much love and respect. The celebration of Maggie's life will be held at Langley United Church, 5673 - 200 St. on November 8 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Maggie's name to Langley United Church, 20465 Douglas Cres.
