Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNARD THOMAS (BEN) PEARCE Bernard Thomas Ben Pearce, 74, Beach Meadows, Queens Co., NS, passed away peacefully at South Shore Regional Hospital, on October 30, 2006. Born in Winnipeg, he was the youngest son of the late May (Cowley) and Charles Pearce. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his best friend and soul-mate, wife Betty (Wildeman); sons, Tom (Carolyn) and Jeff; grandchildren, Kelsi and Devon Pearce, Alanna Tinsley-Roy, Winnipeg, MB, Lily Pearce, London, England, Tom, Brooke and Grace Millar, Calgary, AB. Ben was predeceased by his daughter, Linda (Pearce) Millar, June 7, 2000 and his brothers, Kenneth, Harvey, Norman and Ralph. Ben worked for 37 and a half years for Manitoba Telephone Systems, retiring to Nova Scotia in 1987, where he continued to pursue his passion for designing equipment and writing software for his american customers. He and Betty enjoyed 48 happy years of marriage and were the loves of each others lives. Ben always said, I have had a beautiful time living with my wife, Betty , and they enjoyed each others company until the very end. As was Ben's wish, his body has been donated to Dalhousie University, the Department of Medical Research. Donations in Ben's memory can be made to, South Shore Health, Palliative Care Service.
