AUREL H. TELLIER (Raisin) Peacefully, on November 1, 2006, with his family by his side, Aurèl Tellier passed away at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 85 years. Aurèl was predeceased by his son Ronald (2003), and his son-in-law Martin (2001). He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Elsie of 62 years. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Annette (Eugene), Gerry (Bev), Lucienne (Danny), Roger (Joey), Jo-Ann (Randy); his grandchildren: J.P. (Diane), René, Rachelle (Mike) and their mother Brenda, Kirk (Monique), Michelle; and one special great-grandson, Austin. Aurèl met Elsie at the Sanitarium after being honourably discharged from the Armed Forces due to illness. They fell in love, got married in 1944, and eventually settled in St. Norbert, MB. During that time he got great pleasure from farming in La Salle, working for Gerry Champagne, Modern Dairies and finishing his career with the City of Winnipeg. Aurèl's hobbies included: curling, bowling, shuffleboard, and cribbage. His greatest joy came from the time spent with his friends and family. A special thank you to the staff at Foyer Valade for all their care and compassion. In keeping with Aurèl's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2, or a charity of one's choice. See You Later Darling!
