MILDRED MARGARET NICKEL Mildred Margaret Nickel of Birtle passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2006, at the Sunnyside Manor Personal Care Home, Birtle, at the age of 93 years. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Harvey (Buster) Nickel in 1991. She is survived by two sons: John (Carolynne) and James (Judy) both of Solsgirth; sister Dorothy Treble of Winnipeg and brother Herbert (Anne) Douglas of Winnipeg. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church, Birtle, with interment to follow in the Birtle Cemetery. Rev. Tom Stradwick will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to Sunnyside Manor Personal Care Home, Birtle.
