After a courageous battle with heart disease, she left us quietly and peacefully. Agnes will be lovingly missed by her children, son Rob (Cheryl)(Baby Girl), daughter Angie (Splurbitz) of Vancouver; grandchildren, Stacey of Vancouver, Michael (Leslie) of California; extended family, Ron (Flo) of Regina, Wilfred (Brenda) of Regina, Angie of Winnipeg, Rob and his parents of Winnipeg, Paul (Jodi) of Winnipeg, and, of course, Shelby. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Sandy; mother Anna; and father James. Born January 9, 1933 in Kenora, ON, Agnes spent most of her younger days growing up at the gold mines in Ontario before moving to Winnipeg where she would continue her journey through life until she would finally meet and fall in love with Sandy. Agnes loved life and her family more than anything else in this world. She touched every person she met deeply with her honesty, love and compassion. The family wishes to thank all of the 3rd floor staff of Beacon Hill Lodge and all the staff of the St. Boniface General Hospital Emergency Ward, Floor 5 doctors and staff; the doctors and staff of the SICU Ward for your incredible care and support to ensure Mom's final hours were comfortable and respectful.
