Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT JAMES PARKE Peacefully on November 2, 2006 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Bob passed away with his loving family by his side. His was born on May 27, 1951 in Beausejour, Manitoba. He grew up in Winnipeg, with 2 years in Valleyview, Alberta. He attended Florence Nightingale, Sisler and Tech Voc schools. Later, he attended Red River College where he learned his trade. Bob worked for Hussman (formerly Fleming Peddlar) for over 30 years as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic. Bob liked to read, garden and care for his cat, Sylvester. His real passion, though, was collecting. He was a quiet man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bob sponsored a child, Ericka from Honduras, through World Vision and enjoyed corresponding with her and her family. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his brother and sisters; Gloria Van Styvendale, Allan Parke, Barbara Parke and Marie Parke and her husband Gary; nieces Nancy and Willow as well as other relatives, friends and co-workers. In 1998, he was predeceased by his parents Rudolph and Sophie Parke. Memorial Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 8 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private internment will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and others in the MICU at St. Boniface General Hospital, the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service as well as those at Seven Oakes General Hospital Emergency Department.
