ANNE MARION BARRETT Anne Marion Barrett (nee Wallace) passed away on October 26, 2006 at Lutheran Sunset Home in Saskatoon, SK, with interment having taken place on October 31 in that city. Anne is survived by her husband of 61 years, Don (Saskatoon); son Doug and grandsons Tyler and Shane (Winnipeg); sister Margaret Wallace (Saskatoon); brothers Alex Wallace (Saskatoon) and Ken Wallace (Calgary); brother-in-law Maurice Barrett (Surrey, England) and numerous nieces and nephews in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary and England. Anne was born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 12, 1917 and shortly thereafter moved with her family to Saskatoon, where she lived until graduating from high school. In 1936, she moved to London, England, where she met her future husband. They relocated to Saskatoon in 1948, then to Winnipeg in 1962 and finally to Saskatoon again in 2002. Anne was a very compassionate, caring, selfless and humble person. She particularly delighted in her grandsons and was a true friend to countless others.
