LUCILLE HIEBERT (nee MOQUIN) Peacefully on November 3, 2006, Lucille passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 66. Lucille is survived and will be missed by her husband Abe; daughters, Mona (Bruce) Talling and Deb (Bob) Brown; son Wayne (Linda); grandchildren, Amanda, Katie, Scott, Brent, Jen, Laura, Corey and Wesley; sister Mecthilde and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by her parents Alexandre and Desange Moquin, sisters, Jeannine and Marie and brother Joe. Lucille was born on December 30, 1939 in Altona, MB, the youngest of five children. She was raised in St. Joseph, MB until the family moved to St. Boniface where she worked at the Tache Nursing Home. In 1961, Lucille married Abe and lived in St. Boniface until 1974 when the family moved near Lockport and resided there until 2004. Lucille was a dedicated employee at Revenue Canada for 29 years. She very much enjoyed traveling, watching her grandsons play hockey and was an avid Winnipeg Jets fan. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Lucille's life will be held on Wednesday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy. (just south of Lockport) in Narol, MB with Fr. Jerry Talarski officiating. Donations may be made in Lucille's name to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
