Bea was always Aunty Bea to Jennifer (Milne) Matthews (London, ON) and Susan Milne (Vancouver). Bea was predeceased by her husband Bill in March 1993 and her sister Norah in January 1975. Bea was born in Winnipeg on January 10, 1913. She loved her Irish heritage as her father Robert Montgomery FitzSimons was from Belfast and her mother Rosa Gertrude Murray was from Dublin, Ireland. Bea attended Kelvin High School and later worked as secretary to the President of Monarch Life in Winnipeg for many years. Bea was a devoted wife of 50 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She resided in St. James for 58 years and was blessed with many long lasting friendships. She had wonderful talents including sewing, baking, gardening and playing the piano. Bea enjoyed cottage life commencing in 1921 at Victoria Beach and later at Falcon Lake. Bea was a member of Deer Lodge United Church and on the ladies auxiliary of Khartum Temple for many years. She will be forever remembered by family and friends as a proud, caring, optimistic person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
