HENRY HIEBERT 1922 - 2006 On Friday, November 3, 2006 at his residence in Morden, Henry Hiebert aged 84 years passed away peacefully in his sleep. Left to cherish his memory is one daughter, Lorna Hiebert of Winnipeg; one son, Murray and Wendi of Kitchener, ON; as well as one sister, Erna and Ed Doell of Altona; four brothers, Dave and Anne of Edmonton, Abe and Verna, Ben and Esther both of Winnipeg, Ernest and Elma of Gainesville, Florida plus one sister-in-law, Martha of Steinbach; numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Henry was predeceased by his wife, Henrietta (nee Voth) in 1992 and one brother, Peter. Funeral service will be held (today) Tuesday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Morden Mennonite Church 363 Gilmour Ave. Morden. Interment will follow at Southside Cemetery. Our family moved to Morden from Altona in 1993. Henry worked at the Morden Research Station til his retirement in 1985. In spite of dad's physical limitation in the latter part of his life, he continued to remain involved with the community. As his children, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to our extended family and friends, the church community, the medical and homecare staff, handivan drivers, the Morden Friendship Centre, his friends at Morden Manor II and the community at large for the support that they gave our dad and us. Without your patience and willingness to accommodate him, he would not have lived the quality of life that he had over the last 13 years. We offer our profound thanks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry's memory to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) 134 Plaza Dr. Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9.
