JEANNETTE PARSONS (nee FORTIN) Suddenly, on November 5, 2006 at the Heritage Lodge, Jeannette passed away at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her husband Henry (Hank); brother Raymond and her best friend Betty. Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughter Linda (Bill) Novak; grandchildren, John (Laura) Novak, Janice (Nick Puls); great-grandchildren, Mary, Katrina, Alex and Jessie. She is also survived by her sister Patricia (Pierre) Tretter of Cadillac, MI. Jeannette was born in St. Boniface September 26, 1924 to Alvina and Raoul Fortin the second of three children. She received her education at the St. Ignatius School and St. Mary's Academy. She spent her entire working career at Quinton's until her retirement. Mom was very devoted to her family as well as her dogs. She will be remembered for her knitting skill. Her family will forever treasure her afghans and sweaters. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial reception will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank the Management and staff at the 2nd Floor Nursing Station at the Heritage Lodge for their compassion and care for Mom over the years.
