KATHRYN HARDER (nee WIEBE) February 12, 1918 November 5, 2006 We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Kathryn Harder on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the age of 88 years. Kathryn is going to be greatly missed by her family: including daughters, Lori (George) Korman, Meryl (Don) Matchullis and Jody Gray-Harder; son Marvin and son-in-law Rudi Unrau; two grandsons, six granddaughters, six great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. Also surviving Kathryn are stepchildren, Art (Mary) Harder, Ed (Margaret) Harder, Esther Enns, Ruth (Brian) Hildebrand and step-son-in-law Henry Loewen; 12 step grandchildren and 21 step great-grandchildren; three brothers, two sisters and their families. She was predeceased by her husband John Harder; husband Cornelius Harder; parents John and Helen Wiebe; son Darryl (in infancy); stepdaughter Evelyn Loewen; step-son-in-law Alfred Enns; daughter Jean Unrau; grandson Kevin Matchullis; four brothers and one sister. Kathryn was born in Horndean, MB and spent her growing up years in southern Manitoba. She married John Harder on September 6, 1936 and they lived most of their years in Winnipeg. She enjoyed her time on the acreage tending to her garden and flowers. Kathryn enjoyed many fishing trips and was very involved in her church with ladies clubs, kids clubs and adult Sunday School. After John passed away she married Cornelius Harder on April 23, 1983. They enjoyed their retirement years together. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Gospel Church, 755 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg. Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service.
