(KATO) RICHARD May 23, 1948 Nov. 4, 2006 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger, beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather and uncle. Roger was a very determined and proud man. He had many accomplishments, but his greatest love was being a Master of his art. He leaves to mourn his children, Roger Jr, Daryl, Lee James and Victor; best friend and soulmate Peggy; sisters Carol and Kaye (Mike) and brother Myles (Roberta), as well as grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Roger's Life will be held at East Village Community Church, 4209th Ave. SE, Calgary AB on Friday, November 10 at 1:00 pm. I love you Dad so so much I am definitely my father's son. Good things come to those who take it and if you fail to get back up and you rip it out of their arms and stand tall for all your accomplishments and hard work. If there's a will there's a way. He was my father, I took for granted everything you tried to teach me when it came to martial arts, as well as life, you had a wealth of knowledge, and if I could turn back time I would do it all over but better this time. I have made something of myself and I think you'd be proud. I've tried to live my life as a good man. I have two children of my own, a son named Nick, and a daughter named Morgan, and a wife named Karin...yes we are still together.
