Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWIN ROSIN With much sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Edwin Rosin on November 4, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Edwin is survived by his wife Muriel, daughter Sondra, son-in-law Ray, grandson Daniel, sister Margaret (Bill), brothers, Arthur (Edna) and Henry (Brenda), also numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilhelmina and Erdman Rosin, brother Fred and sister-in-law Regina. Edwin was born February 4, 1931 in Green Bay, MB to Wilhelmina and Erdman Rosin. He attended Green Bay School. Because he was not afraid of heights, his first job was painting grain elevators in Saskatchewan. After that job was completed he came back to Winnipeg and found employment at Stall and Sons as a fur grader, then later at Neaman Furs. He took a years retirement then went back to work for Hampton Green Condominiums, where he made many friends. Edwin enjoyed listening to classical music and opera. His favourite artist was Luciano Pavarotti. He was also a big sports fan and watched all types on T.V. He was a big fan of the Blue Bombers and Blue Jays. He liked watching old movies on T.V. and playing and listening to music C.D.'s and tapes. He was also very talented in fixing things and was always there to offer his help to anyone who needed it. Many thanks to the Fire Department and paramedics for their quick response. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9 from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 10 at 3:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. Donations may be made in Edwin's memory to Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin St., Winnipeg, R3E 3R6. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
