EVELYN YARISH (SELLGREN)

EVELYN YARISH (nee SELLGREN) Peacefully on November 6, 2006 with her daughter Sandy at her side, Mom passed away at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, MB where she has resided for the past 14 months. Mom was born in Inwood, MB on December 26, 1924. Mom will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, Elaine (Bob) of Los Angeles, CA, Edie (Bruce) of Nelson, BC, Sandy (Ted) of Husavick, Dave (Barb) of Inwood, MB, Darlene (Garth) of Balmoral, MB and her son-in-law Ken Antochiw of Winnipeg. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Glen, Allyson, Tracey, Tiory, Clinton, Cammy, Carlie, Kellie, Brendon and Connor; her great-grandchildren, Kolton, Christopher, Shay, Lindsey, Ava, Cailey and Thomas. She is also survived by her sister Mildred Henderson of Swan River, MB; her brother Bill Sellgren of Florence, OR; sister-in-law Lillian Grinham and brother-in-law Fred Nault, as well as many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband John Johnson in October 2000; daughter Marie in August 2003; her parents, Hjalmar and Hjulda Sellgren; her brothers, Wilbur, Sanford and Norman; her sisters, Eva, Betty, Helen and Norma. The family would also like to extend special thanks to all the caregivers and friends at Goodwin Lodge who so lovingly cared for our mother. Funeral service will be held at the Inwood Memorial Hall, Inwood, MB on Sunday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Inwood, MB or the Diabetic Association. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon, MB is in care of the arrangements.
