DOREEN MARGARET DUSESSOY (nee MORSE) On Monday, November 6, 2006, at the Victoria General Hospital, with her family at her side, Doreen passed away at the age of 72 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Doreen is survived by her husband Odiel of 51 years of marriage; son Gerry Dusessoy and Tracy MacLean of Kelowna, BC; Gerry's children, Dustin and Danielle Dusessoy of Winnipeg; daughter Joanne Margaret Talbot (Richard) and their daughters Victoria and Rachel, all residing in Calgary, AB; sister Lillian Burns (Allan); sisters-in-law, Margaret Guertin (Ed), Deanne Morse, Louise Morse, Doreen Morse, Stella Greenwood; special friends Bill and Phylis Johnston; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Everett and Alida Morse; in-laws Leon and Germaine Dusessoy; brothers, Milton (Tip), Eugene (Zack), Marvin (Joe), Leroy (Buck), Ted and Sox; sisters Cindy Burns (Ronald) and Mace Shirtliff (Harold). Born September 11, 1934, Doreen spent her early years growing up on the family farm in Starbuck, MB. Mom enjoyed to cook and prepare many meals for special occasions with her many friends at the Eagles Club. In accordance with Doreen's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held at a later date. Mom wanted to extend a special thanks to Lorraine (Metcha) and Vic Peterson; Sharon and Ed Lannoo and Georgette Messner, for all their extended efforts during the past few months. Also, Dr. Richard Blow and wife Penny for their many visits and inspiration for the family. To also Dr. Sheldon Permach and the entire 3rd floor staff at the Victoria General Hospital who truly did an outstanding job to keep Mom comfortable with the highest regard of compassion. You all went above and beyond your call of duty and the family truly thanks you for this. At Mom's request, a luncheon will be held at the Eagles Hall in St. Norbert on Friday, November 10 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. All friends are welcome to drop by. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations in Doreen's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. You are not walking alone; I am at your side. Doreen's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
