BIK HA YAN It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Bik Ha Yan at the Health Sciences Centre on November 7, 2006 at the age of 87. Bik Ha was born in Toishan, China on January 17, 1922. She came to Canada in 1980. She had an extreme passion for gardening and always placed others before herself. Her love was pure and Altruistic. She suffered from poor circulation for over a year. Her health declined drastically, but she met those challenges in her quiet and courageous manner. The family would like to thank Dr. Joshua Koulack, the staff at Health Sciences Centre and the home care nurses for the care they have provided her. Bik Ha will be sorely missed by her son Lee Kwok Wah (Siu Kuea) and her four daughters, Yan Xian Li (Sin Man), Xian Ping Li (Chat Man), Im Fong Li (Lip Wong), and Susan Kung (John). Also left to mourn are her grandchildren, Fei Ming Yiu, (Aiyiu) Fei Yuk (Yee Ting), Man Na (Dep Hung), and Man Yu (Fung), Charles (Hing), Li Li, Fei Hung (Yu), Tin Cheung (Fung), Siu Yuk (Wai), Wilton and Melissa. She had 13 great-grandchildren. She will be loved forever. Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2006 at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
