SHANE IAN GREENBERG September 12, 1954 - November 6, 2006 It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing on November 6, 2006 of Shane Ian Greenberg at the young age of 52 years. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughter Sarah Kuzyk; devoted partner Sharon Burch; parents Edward and Corinne Greenberg; sisters, Sandra Gordon and Brenda Tenenbein; brother-in-law Milton Tenenbein; nephews and nieces, Burton, Paul, Marshall, his wife Candice and Rachel Tenenbein; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his faithful canine companion Nixon. The apple of his eye was his daughter Sarah for whom there was nothing he wouldn't do. Since meeting his partner Sharon, Shane had developed a new joie de vivre. A dedicated father, son and brother, he never missed a Sunday brunch with his parents or a holiday dinner with his family. A life long dog lover, Shane enjoyed taking Nixon for long walks. Always there to lend a hand to whomever was in need, Shane was a good friend to many and as a result had many good friends. An avid sports fan, Shane loved to watch the Habs and his Bumboys (Blue Bombers). Funeral services were held on November 8, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. at Congregation Etz Chayim. Pallbearers were Milton Tenenbein, Burton Tenenbein, Paul Tenenbein, Marshall Tenenbein, Darrell Kreel and Gabe Brojges. Honorary pallbearer was Harry Kreel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shane's memory to the Humane Society of Winnipeg.
