VICTORIA KONDRATIUK (nee TOKARZ) November 12, 1914 November 7, 2006 Peacefully, Victoria left us to join her husband Peter and other loved ones to a better place at the good age of 91 years with her family by her side. Left to cherish and honour her memory are daughter Catherine (John) McKoluff, grandchildren, Miranda (Walter) Romanyshyn, Sanford (Gloria) McKoluff, great-grandsons, Cody and Kyle; son Adolph (Betty) Kondratiuk, grandchildren, Sheila (Michael) Verhaeghe, great-grandchildren, Lauren, Racheal, Garnet, Milton Kondratiuk (Lisa Sime), great-grandson Jordan; brothers, Joseph, Edward (Margie); special friend Brian Hrynyk, also many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Peter (December 26, 2000); brother Steve; sisters, Mary (Pete Paradowski), Rosie (Joe Zdrill), Anna (Mike Rogocki), Helen (Peter Kuhtey); sister-in-law Dora Tokarz and parents Jan and Katarzyna Tokarz. Victoria was a hard working and generous person. Nobody went away hungry whether at home or even when they had the store in Lowland for 40 years. Retiring to Beausejour in 1989, Mom loved her garden and flowers. On April 25, 1963 Mom foiled a robbery from the store and post office for which she received a special award from Ottawa Postmaster General. She will be missed but never forgotten. It's good-bye for now but not forever. Prayers will be said Sunday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue, Beausejour, MB. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 13 at 10:30 a.m. also at Sobering Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery in Allegra. The family thanks ALL the staff of Shamrock Unit at East Gate Lodge, you all were like family to us. Flowers gratefully declined.
