Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGINA (GEORGIE) CAMPEAU (nee POTTLE) Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Georgie passed away. She is survived by her loving husband John; brothers, Jim and Don Pottle of Sydney, Nova Scotia as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Bill Pottle and sisters, Stella Parent, Ada Hopps and Alma Musgrave. Georgie was born on May 7,1928 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Soon after completing her education, she came to Winnipeg for a short visit with her sister Ada. She never left, making Manitoba her home. She met John and they were married on November 4, 1961. Her careers included working as a secretary for Sheps Agencies and The University of Manitoba, then as John's partner in their Market Garden operation in St. Germain. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. The interment will follow at the St. Norbert Parish Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staffs of The Victoria General Hospital and the Golden Door Geriatric Centre for their compassionate care.
