Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILDRED MABEL LEGGE On Friday November 10, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre with her family at her side, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and aunt, Mildred passed away at the age of 85. She will be sadly missed by her son Gordon (Carol) grandsons Ian, Michael; daughter Christina (John Gulyas) granddaughters Michelle (Scott McDougall) great-granddaughter Reese, Laura (Howard Spencer) great-granddaughter Sophia; son John (Martha) granddaughter Jennifer; son Robert (Rose) granddaughter Mallory, grandson Mason; daughter Joanne (Tom Sarna) granddaughters Gillian (Josh Parry), Meghan, grandsons Philip, Joshua and Zachary. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lorraine Parker; of Toronto and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by the love of her life Mason in 1986. Mildred was born in Toronto, July 4, 1921. She meet her life long partner, Mason, at the age of fifteen and enjoyed 45 years of marriage until Mason passed away in October 1986. The family moved from Toronto to Calgary in 1961 and then took up final residence in Winnipeg in 1965. She and Mason lived in Windsor Park for twenty years and met many wonderful people and had great neighbors. Millie moved to Appleton Estates in 1993 and resided there ever since. Millie's greatest joy without any question was that of her family. Throughout the years she was always there when you needed her and had a love beyond compare. In her later years she enjoyed socializing with her friends at Appleton Estates, playing cards, bingo and going for outings on her scooter. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 2.00 p.m. in the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Brad Crassweller officiating.
