Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNHARD (BEN) THIESSEN On November 10, 2006 at the Riverview Health Centre, Bernhard (Ben) Thiessen aged 76 years, beloved husband of Judith Thiessen, passed away. Besides his wife Judith, Ben will also be lovingly remembered by one son Marlin (Rigina); two daughters, Lorena Wolfe and Connie Thiessen (Don Gibson), all of Winnipeg; two brothers, Harry (Helen) of Steinbach and Corny of Altona; three sisters, Anna Friesen (Abe) of Winnipeg, Helena Thiessen of Winnipeg and Kathy Kroecker (Ed) of Lac du Bonnet, as well as 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Fort Garry Evangelical Mennonite Church, 602 Pasadena Ave., Pastor Layton Friesen officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Viewing will take place between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ben's memory may be made to Fort Garry Evangelical Mennonite Church Missions, 602 Pasadena Ave., Winnipeg, R3T 2S9, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. Ben's family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for the wonderful care given to Dad during his stay.
