Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE DOUGLAS HARRY July 5, 1934 - November 11, 2006 Peacefully on Saturday November 11, 2006 at the Pine Falls Hospital with his family by his side, our dear brother passed away at the age of 72. Lawrence is survived by his brothers, Irvin, Gerald (Pat); sisters, Evelyne, Caroline, Gladys, Yvonne, special niece and nephew Denise, and Mitch, also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his loving partner Elizah (Lisa) Eaglestick and his parents Richard and Helen, brothers Alex, Gordon, and sister Sarah. Lawrence was born in Black River on July 5 1934 where he lived all his life. Lawrence was a carpenter for 18 years, as well as a plumber. He was also Chief of Black River for eight years. The family would like to thank the Pine Falls Hospital Staff for their kind care of Lawrence during his recent illness. A very special thank you is also extended to his home care nurse who became his very good friend, Beverly Everett. Kichi Meegwetch for caring and being there for him. Also thank you to nurse Lori Chartier and home care staff in Black River for making Lawrence's stay at home comfortable. Wake services have begun Sunday November 12 at the Black River Band Hall. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 15 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Georges Anglican Church in Black River Manitoba. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Rev.Nancy and Richard Bruyere officiating. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Harry, Nathan Harry, Miles Morrisseau, Alvin Morrisseau, Richard Henderson, and Robert Thickfoot.
