Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL (JAKE) WILLSIE It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Paul (Jake) Willsie on Saturday, November 11, 2006 in Winnipeg, MB. He will be especially missed by his wife and soul mate, Bonnie Girouard; his loving parents, Don and Irene Willsie of Hamilton, ON; his brothers, Gary Willsie (Helen) of Shelby Twp., Michigan, and Brian (Ann) Willsie of Halfmoon Bay, BC; brothers-in-law, Roland Girouard, Larry Girouard, Lenny (Rose) Girouard, sisters-in-law, Norene Girouard, and Janet Girouard; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Paul was born and raised in Hamilton, ON. He was the Red Shuttle Bus driver for the Fort Gary Campus, University of Manitoba. He was formerly with the City of Winnipeg in Parks Recreation. He also held various positions in his career in British Columbia and the States. Paul enjoyed meeting many new people, as well as the many students at University of Manitoba. He liked gardening and spending time watching football. His Dad will miss his regular phone calls about the football games and the plays. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the I.C.U. nurses, particularly Christie at the Victoria Hospital. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster Boulevard. A Celebration of Paul's life will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Paul's memory.
